Before Atlanta Pride can burp rainbow in October, it needs grand marshals for its gaylicious parade that seemingly stretches on all weekend long. Now's your chance to offer up some nominations.

They need plenty. Pride never just settles for one when they can have six. Or 120. Somehow, it always turned into a bit of a pickle. But nominate! Now!

“Being asked to serve as a Grand Marshal is the highest honor that Atlanta Pride can bestow upon someone in recognition for their support of the LGBTQ community," Pride Executive Director Buck Cooke says in a press release.

Think diversity.

“We are hopeful that nominations will come from a diverse group of applicants," Cooke adds. "It is the community that presents these individuals from Atlanta’s LGBTQ and allied leadership, activists, volunteers and other supporters, so we welcome and encourage anyone who knows a strong candidate to submit a nomination.”

Negative Ninnies love to troll Atlanta Pride. About the kick-off party. About hosting it in October. About entertainers. Right before they attend the 3-day event, get drunk, laid and enjoy their rainbow dose of fun. This is your chance to actually help rather than criticize.

No, you can't nominate Ben Cohen. Or Neil Patrick Harris. They don't live in Georgia. Don Lemon? Yep, he lives in Virginia-Highland.
