The holigays reached their peak on Sunday as thousands of people donned their holiday best, donated a toy and knocked back cocktails while enjoying the 11th Annual Toy Party & Silent Auction.

The massive event unfolded across two floors of the even more massive AmericasMart3 in downtown Atlanta with two DJs -- Vicki Powell and Sed, drag queens, performance artists, shirtless liquor guys, Baton Bob, an Ultra Lounge for VIPs, and a silent auction that went high tech with mobile bidding.

Toy Party originated in 2003 with a group of gay friends that later turned into For The Kid In All Of Us, the non-profit that now operates the event. Before Sunday's party, the event had donated more than 38,000 toys and more than $474,000 to charities. Some 21 agencies across Georgia that serve children are beneficiaries, including AID Atlanta, CHRIS Kids, Jerusalem House and Lost N Found Youth.

Attendance slipped in 2012, drawing some 3,200 people as it added a $5 cover for the first time to go along with a requested donation of a toy valued at $20 or more. In past years, more than 4,000 people attended the event. Final attendance and fundraising numbers for Sunday's event were not yet available.
