Gay Atlanta celebrated its LGBT business leaders and allies on Friday with a sold out awards dinner and silent auction.

The Atlanta Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce and its supporters gathered at the Fox Theatre for a posh dinner and silent auction, and to dish out honors to LGBT business leaders and corporate allies. The celebration turned out to be a big night for Gayborhood, the Atlanta-based app that points LGBT people to gay-friendly businesses in cities across the country.

Award winders included Marci Alt of Gayborhood, Business Woman of the Year; Tim Miller of TP Corporate Lodging, Business Man of the Year; Tony Kearney, Guardian Angel Award; Laura Barton of Atlanta Pride Committee, Rising Star Award; Gayborhood (top photo), Small Business of the Year; SunTrust, Corporate Ally; and Jan Stepp of Pizazzz Promotions as Member of the Year. AGLCC also named Kathy Martinez, a senior vice president at Wells Fargo, as its Vanguard Award winner.

Trans actor and playwright Scott Turner Schofield emceed the event. Schofield made his debut on CBS’ “The Bold & The Beautiful” earlier this year. Atlanta Pride honored him as a parade grand marshal in 2008.

In August, AGLCC launched Out, a networking series for LGBT professionals under 35.
