If you think kink, or think you might like to, what’s better than a weekend of leather, rubber, bootblack or BDSM competitions and demos? Four fetishes wrapped into one for Southeast Black & Blue Weekend, that’s what.
Don’t be content purchasing your copy of Atlanta’s hot gay “Dirty Boys” calendar and calling it a day. Just say “yes sir!” to events planned for Friday and Saturday at the Atlanta Eagle by the SIR/boy team of Alan Penrod and Pup Nitro (photo). They are Atlanta’s gay power couple, if you will, behind several Atlanta BDSM events like Atlanta Leather Pride (view photos) and Hotlanta Rubber Weekend.
Last year, the pair blended the Southeast Leather SIR/boy and Community Bootblack together with the Southeast Rubber events into one big weekend, and Black & Blue was born. Demos featuring experts in different kinds of kink can help you find your interest and experiment a little.
The rubber meets the road on Friday night with a Meet & Greet from 10 p.m. – 1 a.m. Lucky for you, the night also includes the return of bear music god DJ Robin Skouteris working with the Eagle’s own DJ Pat Scott on their wildly popular mashup madness known as the Mash Attacks! party.
The real Black & Blue Weekend fun starts on Saturday, where the Eagle starts early with the Find Your Kink Barbecue at 5 p.m. Then it’s on to Black & Blue’s main event, when four titles will be determined on Saturday night: Mr. Southeast Leather SIR, Mr. Southeast Leatherboy, Mr. Southeast Community Bootblack and Mr. Southeast Rubber all take the stage. Struts and stuffs are presented and judged at the Eagle from 8 p.m. – 10 p.m. with a victory party to follow.

Southeast Black & Blue Weekend takes place at the Atlanta Eagle on Friday and Saturday nights. The events are among a whole host of the best gay things to do in Atlanta this weekend.
