Maybe it was March Madness. Or the Atlanta Bucks. But definitely the daddies. The packed crowd stretched out the door and around the sidewalk on Saturday at Woof's.
That's when the rejuvenated gay sports bar hosted its inaugural DILF Night to celebrate daddies and all that they do oh so well.
The bar – which recently banned smoking, renovated itself and put in place other improvements after management changes in January – was packed. Maybe it was the Final Four on the collection of big screens spread around the bar. Or it could have been the Atlanta Bucks, who were there partying with the Charlotte Royals after their rugby match earlier that afternoon. But the daddies were out in force too. The result? A fun packed night in the Piedmont Road bar.
The event on Saturday was the start of a busy month for the gay sports bar. There's Bear Hump Hour on Wednesday, Jersey Night on Saturday and an Atlanta Sharks Beer Bust on Sunday. And mark your calendar for Ginger Appreciation Night on April 16.
