Baddest Bitch: David Bowie Edition. The latest queer icons tribute goes to the late, great icon (top photo) when you come hang out with the cool kids @ Mary’s, 9 p.m.

Alan Avery Anniversary. The gay-owned gallery that helps set a standard of excellence celebrates its birthday with renowned artists @ Alan Avery Art, 7 p.m.

Fresh. The latest exhibition at this gay-owned art gallery gets its opening reception on @ Kai Lin Art, 7 p.m.

The Other Show. Come to the unique weekly drag cabaret with an eclectic cast and special guests that always pack a surprise @ Jungle, 9:30 p.m

Freakshow. Get a jumpstart on Halloween with this BeefyBoy production featuring DJ Seth Breezy and the bar’s weekly man-on-man dance party @ Heretic, 10 p.m.

Deadly Vixens puts the grrls on display for your entertainment and your dollars, plus Second Level beats upstairs @ Blake’s, 9 p.m.

Friday Night Dance Party. Another weekly way to kick off your weekend just hit 10th Street. See what you can get into @ G’s, 10 p.m.

Ladies Lounge. Get your lesbian weekend started with a DJ-driven dance party, live performances and scores of women in the new Midtown home of Atlanta lesbian nightlife @ My Sister’s Room, 9 p.m.

Crush Friday turns up the volume on its weekly gay Latin party with stage shows and dancing into the wee hours @ Club Rush, 10 p.m. – 5 a.m.

Southern Softpaw League. Fall Ball is in full swing with the gay softball pitchers and catchers @ Southside Sports Complex, 10 a.m. Join the Post-Games Beer Bust hosted by the Atlanta Wild @ Oscars, 4 p.m.

Queer Youth Fest. Join a gaggle in this gorgeous weather @ Candler Park Healium Center, 2 p.m.

#Daydrunk. Drink specials put you to bed early or make you the life of tonight’s party @ Mary’s, 2 p.m. – 8 p.m. Do it, and you may not remember what you did during regularly scheduled shenanigans, 9 p.m.

Deep South: Polyglamorous. Vicki Powell presents DJs Mark O’Brien and MJR at her semi-regular gathering of bad-ass hipsters @ Heretic, 10 p.m.

DM & The Family. The ensemble musical group headed by gay Atlanta’s own Dylan Michael plays some “stoop kid” tunes @ Smith’s Olde Bar, 9 p.m.

Drag Brunch presents the Sisters of Sequins with Bubba D. Licious at the wheel while you eat @ Lips, 12:30 p.m. Walk-ins welcome. Or sleep in and do Dinner with the Divas, 6:30 p.m.

Midtown Rouge. First it’s High Energy and DJ Bill Berdeaux, 1 p.m., then the legendary Sunday drag show kicks off with an all-star cast @ Blake's, 8 p.m.

Sunday Funday wraps your weekend just the way you like it: with all your gays plus DJs Rob Reum and Robert Ansley @ Ten Atlanta, 5 p.m. – midnight.

Armorettes. Atlanta’s camp drag crazies against HIV do their weekly good in the gayborhood @ Burkhart’s, 7:30 p.m.
