Friday, June 16

Peach Party (top photo). A full weekend of DJ Dance parties kicks off with DJ Phil B @ Heretic, 10 p.m. Head over to a new location for the DJ 'Twisted' Dee Martello Afterparty @ New Xion on Tula St., 3 a.m. – 7 a.m. Here's the scoop on the last-minute venue change.

Stonewall Pride Block Party. This event goes all weekend long, starting with DJ Mike Pope outside and DJ Daryl Cox inside @ Ten, 9 p.m.

‘Nobody Loves You.’ Gays for Plays comes out en masse to enjoy the free outdoor live stage show from the Horizon Theatre production @ Piedmont Park Promenade, 6p.m.

Mamma Mia! The farewell tour for the Broadway show set to ABBA tunes @ Fox Theatre, 8 p.m.

The Other Show. Come to the unique weekly drag cabaret with an eclectic cast and special guests that always pack a surprise @ Jungle, 9 p.m., preceded by a RuPaul’s Drag Race watch party, 8 p.m.

Boys Room. Hang with the cool kids in East Atlanta @ Mary’s, 9 p.m.

Mr & Ms. Atlanta Eagle Bar Night starts off the weekend @ Atlanta Eagle, 10 p.m.

Fresh Face Friday puts the newest drag glamazons on display. Then get your singles ready for premiere queens in Femme Fatale: Featuring Naysha Lopez from RuPaul's Drag Race 8 @ Burkhart’s, 9:30 p.m. and 11 p.m.

Glitz & Glam Dinner Theater. Charlie Brown, the undisputed Bitch of the South and her gurlz entertain with dinner and a show amid the fancy theater experience of Atlanta’s premiere drag restaurant and bar. Make Reservations @ Lips Atlanta, 6 p.m., 9 p.m. and the Taboo Show at 11:30 p.m.

Celestial Friday. Celeste Holmes hosts the show “where the stars come out” and puts the grrls on display for your entertainment and your dollars, plus Second Level beats upstairs @ Blake’s, 11 p.m.

Ladies Lounge. Get your lesbian weekend started with a DJ-driven dance party, live performances and scores of women in the new Midtown home of Atlanta lesbian nightlife @ My Sister’s Room, 9 p.m. 

Resident DJs Scott and Mikey take you deep into the night with $5 Fridays @ Xion, 3 a.m. – 7 a.m.

 

Saturday, June 17

Atlanta Pride Run & Walk (middle photo). The annual Stonewall fun run with Atlanta Pride and Frontrunners steps off @ Piedmont Park, 8 a.m.

Gay Atlanta Trolley Tour. The local gay historians of Touching Up Our Roots guide this two-hour trip down Memory Lane starting @ Center for Civil & Human Rights, 1 p.m.

New Charis Open House. A brand new location for Atlanta’s lesbian-feminist bookstores opens for preview before renovations begin @ New Charis Books & More, 184 Candler St., 2 p.m.

Stonewall Pride Block Party. The parking lot is wide open with multiple outdoor bars, outside DJs and indoor fun all weekend @ Ten Atlanta, 3 p.m.

Push Ups for PALS. Pets Are Loving Support benefits from gay jocks competing doing push ups while you drink @ Woofs, 2 p.m.

#Daydrunk. Drink specials put you to bed early or make you the life of tonight’s party @ Mary’s, 2 p.m. – 8 p.m. Do it, and you may not remember what you did during the regularly scheduled shenanigans, 10 p.m.

Ladies of the League. The gridiron gays of National Flag Football League of Atlanta close their season with awards and jocks in frocks @ Jungle, 6 p.m.

J Tyler CD Release Party. The local gay rapper debuts his first EP of new tracks, ‘Prelude,’ with other special guest artists in tow @ Hard Rock Cafe, 7 p.m. Read his local gay interview.

Evening for Equality. Join the LGBT and allied movers and shakers to celebrate the work of Georgia Equality @ Interncontinental Buckhead Atlanta, 7:30 p.m.

Atlanta Freedom Bands: Gershwin. The LGBT instrumentalists perform their Pride Month Concert @ North Atlanta High School, 7:30 p.m.

Early Country-Late Night Dance. Scoot boots, then shake booty @ Heretic, 8 p.m. and 12:30 a.m.

Peach Party continues with DJ Paulo @ Jungle, 10 p.m., then DJ Alex Acosta Afterparty @ New Xion on Tula St., 3 a.m. – 7 a.m. Here's the scoop on the last-minute venue change.

Sweet N Low. Rotten Peaches, the group for queer women, hosts this dance party with musical guest Aasha @ Murmur Gallery, 10 p.m.

DJ Pat Scott spins for Atlanta Bucks bar night @ Atlanta Eagle, 10 p.m.

Sizzling Startlets and Fever. The opening show is followed by the quintessential drag cast working for your dollars @ Burkhart's, 9:30 p.m. and 11 p.m. 

Glitz & Glam with Charlie Brown. The self-titled Bitch of the South and her girls entertain with dinner and a show in the theater experience of Atlanta’s drag restaurant and bar. Make reservations @ Lips Atlanta, 6 p.m., 9 p.m. and the Taboo Show at 11:30 p.m. 

GlitterBomb werqs Saturday night with a drag show hosted by Edie Cheezburger, a cast of premiere queens and special guests @ Blake’s, 10 p.m.

 

Sunday, June 18

Peach Stonewall Block Party (bottom photo). Peach Party joins the weekend-long Stonewall Pride Block Party outdoors for a Sunday Funday you won’t soon forget featuring DJ Josh Whitaker @ Ten, 3 p.m. Kraxx kicks things off, 1 p.m. with DJ Rob Reum inside, 3 p.m.

Close out Peach Party with DJ Abel @ Jungle, 8 p.m.

Hotlanta Softball: Commissioners Cup. The gay pitchers and catchers close their season of play on the field and off @ Johnson Park, all day. Join them for bottomless brews during the Extra Innings Beer Bust @ Woofs, 4 p.m.

Drag Brunch presents the Sisters of Sequins with Bubba D. Licious at the wheel while you eat @ Lips, 12:30 p.m. Walk-ins welcome. Or sleep in and do Dinner with the Divas, 6:30 p.m.

Sporty Sunday Funday. All the games and matches on the screens and all the guys to watch it with @ Woofs, 12 noon.

Atlanta Bondage Club. All tied up in the gay men’s sex club @ Manifest4U, 2 p.m.

ABCD: A Burlesque, Comedy, Drag show. Local and visiting queers entertain you @ Laughing Skull, 8 p.m.

Midtown Rouge. First it’s High Energy and DJ Bill Berdeaux, 1 p.m., then the legendary Sunday drag show kicks off with an all-star cast including Raquell Lorde @ Blake's, 8:30 p.m.

Armorettes. Atlanta’s camp drag crazies against HIV do their weekly good in the gayborhood @ Burkhart’s, 7:30 p.m.

Tossed Salad. The magic and madness masterminded by Brigitte Bidet and her left-of-center queens goes in hard @ Burkhart’s, 10:30 p.m.
