You’re a week in on those resolutions, and you’re doing great. Time for a reward. Atlanta’s LGBT weekend events have plenty of bonus incentives to tempt you out into the cold.

Friday, Jan. 6

Celestial Friday (top photo). Blake’s changes things up for Fridays. Celeste Holmes returns with the show “where the stars come out” and puts the grrls on display for your entertainment and your dollars, plus Second Level beats upstairs @ Blake’s, 11 p.m. Get there early for afterwork cocktails and evening comaraderie.

“Greetings You’re Kind Assistance Is Required.” Gay Atlanta’s Topher Payne stages his story of happens when an older lady takes one of those “foreign prince” e-mails seriously and takes off on an international adventure @ Georgia Ensemble Theatre, 8 p.m. Runs through Jan. 19

Boys Room. Chill with the cool queers in East Atlanta @ Mary’s, 9 p.m.

The Other Show. Come to the unique weekly drag cabaret with an eclectic cast and special guests that always pack a surprise @ Jungle, 9:30 p.m

Pump. When one word is all you need to kick off the weekend with a man-to-man dance party, you betta Pump, 10 p.m.

Blackout Night. Move through the darkness @ Atlanta Eagle, 10 p.m.

Glitz & Glam Dinner Theater. Charlie Brown, the undisputed Bitch of the South and her gurlz entertain with dinner and a show amid the fancy theater experience of Atlanta’s premiere drag restaurant and bar. Make Reservations @ Lips Atlanta, 6 p.m., 9 p.m. and the Taboo Show at 11:30 p.m.

Femme Fatale puts the drag glamazons on display each week. Get your singles ready for premiere Atlanta queens @ Burkhart’s, 11 p.m.

Friday Night Dance Party. Another weekly way to kick off your weekend just hit 10th Street. See what you can get into @ G’s, 10 p.m.

Ladies Lounge. Get your lesbian weekend started with a DJ-driven dance party, live performances and scores of women in the new Midtown home of Atlanta lesbian nightlife @ My Sister’s Room, 9 p.m.

Crush Friday turns up the volume on its weekly gay Latin party with stage shows and dancing into the wee hours @ Club Rush, 10 p.m. – 5 a.m.

Resident DJs Scott and Mikey take you deep into the night with $5 Fridays @ Xion, 3 a.m. – 7 a.m.

Foreplay Afterhours keeps you dancing late. Really late @ Tokyo Valentino, 1 a.m. – 5 a.m.

 

Saturday, Jan. 7

Mike & Mike Birthday Bash (middle photo). DJ Mike Pope spins for popular R4H leader Mike Woodside’s birthday @ Heretic, 10 p.m.

Crossing Cheshire Bridge. Photographer compiles all her photos of people encountered over a decade on the famous Midtown thoroughfare @ Showcase School of Photography, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.

NFL Wild Card Games. The pros are getting down to the playoffs while you get down to beers and cocktails with the gay jocks. Falcons advance on a bye week, so it’s Raiders v. Texans, then Lions v. Seahawks @ Woofs, doors 12 noon.

#Daydrunk. Drink specials put you to bed early or make you the life of tonight’s party @ Mary’s, 2 p.m. – 8 p.m. Do it, and you may not remember what you did during the Gurlfrandz show, 10 p.m.

Dance Party. DJ beats to move your feets @ Jungle, 10:30 p.m. Get there early for Fantasy Girls, 9 p.m.

DJ Ron Pullman. It’s Onyx Bar Night @ Atlanta Eagle, 10 p.m.

Synergy turns up the volume on Saturday night and blows your ever-loving mind with glamazons working for your dollars @ Burkhart's, 11 p.m.

Glitz & Glam with Charlie Brown. The self-titled Bitch of the South and her girls entertain with dinner and a show in the theater experience of Atlanta’s drag restaurant and bar. Make reservations @ Lips Atlanta, 6 p.m., 9 p.m. and the Taboo Show at 11:30 p.m. 

GlitterBomb werqs Saturday night with a drag show hosted by Edie Cheezburger, a cast of premiere queens and special guests @ Blake’s, 10 p.m.

DJ Lydia Prim brings the tribal beats to keep your weekend fun going that much longer @ Tokyo Valentino, 1 a.m. – 5 a.m.

DJ Scott Anthony All Nighter. Bars close, but this place doesn’t. You never stop shaking your ass @ Xion, 3 a.m. – 7 a.m.

 

Sunday, Jan. 8

Drag Brunch presents the Sisters of Sequins with Bubba D. Licious at the wheel while you eat @ Lips, 12:30 p.m. Walk-ins welcome. Or sleep in and do Dinner with the Divas, 6:30 p.m.

Midtown Rouge. First it’s High Energy and DJ Bill Berdeaux, 1 p.m., then the legendary Sunday drag show kicks off with an all-star cast including Raquell Lorde (bottom photo) @ Blake's, 8 p.m.

Sunday Funday wraps your weekend just the way you like it: with all your gays plus DJs Rob Reum and Robert Ansley @ Ten Atlanta, 5 p.m. – midnight.

Armorettes. Atlanta’s camp drag crazies against HIV do their weekly good in the gayborhood @ Burkhart’s, 7:30 p.m.

Tossed Salad. The magic and madness masterminded by Brigitte Bidet and her left-of-center queens @ Burkhart’s, 9:30 p.m.
