Bebe Rexha, Mike Posner, CeCe Peniston to headline Atlanta Pride

Two full days of entertainers are set to hit Piedmont Park on Oct. 13 and 14 during Atlanta Pride. The festival committee announced its full lineup of current, legendary, national and local acts on Thursday.

“We are thrilled to be able to offer three stages of diverse and exciting entertainment to festival goers again this year,” says Jamie Fererson, Pride’s executive director. “It is important for us to remind everyone, as we do each year that while many other large Pride celebrations have moved to ticketing portions of their festival, thanks to the support of Atlanta’s LGBTQ community and our sponsors alike, we can stay true to our commitment of keeping the festival and our entertainment free of charge.”

On both Saturday and Sunday, a concert and a drag variety show serve as climaxes of the day. The new Shooting Stars Cabaret debuts on Saturday, and the annual Starlight Cabaret closes Pride on Sunday.

Before those, guest musicians on Saturday afternoon and evening include hot singer Bebe Rexha (photo), veteran performer CeCe Peniston and singer-songwriter Mike Posner. Sunday’s evening lineup before the cabaret includes “American Idol” alumnus Ada Vox and DJ Tracy Young.

The full lineup, schedule and announcement from Atlanta Pride.

The Atlanta Pride Committee (APC) announced the details today for their entertainment line-up for the 2018 Atlanta Pride Festival.

This year, the festival will once again feature three stages, including the Coca-Cola and Nissan Stages as well as a stage named for brand new Atlanta Pride sponsor, Heineken. All three stages will be filled with a variety of energetic acts and rousing performances throughout the weekend! From the red hot, Bebe Rexha, to perennial favorites, the Michel Jons Band, the stages will be going strong all weekend! If that isn’t enough, we’ve got DJ’s, dance parties, a comedy block, a youth variety show and more!

The eclectic array of talent includes singer-song writer, Mike Posner, whose biggest hit “I Took A Pill In Ibiza’ is sure to be a part of the set list; along with Universal-Island Recording Artist, Madison Beer; whose current hit, “Home With You,” is currently climbing the charts. Others include Michele Malone, Exquisite Gender and rounding out the weekend is the is American Idol contestant, Ada Vox!

APC Executive Director, Jamie Fergerson, said of the schedule, “We are thrilled to be able to offer three stages of diverse and exciting entertainment to festival goers again this year, and we are especially proud to be able to expand our drag performances with the inaugural a “Shooting Stars Cabaret,” which showcases up and coming drag talent. We heard community feedback that said we should feature more local performers, so our Entertainment team added a Saturday show in addition to Sunday’s legendary Starlight Cabaret.”

She continued, “It is important for us to remind everyone, as we do each year that while many other large Pride celebrations have moved to ticketing portions of their festival, thanks to the support of Atlanta’s LGBTQ community and our sponsors alike, we can stay true to our commitment of keeping the festival and our entertainment free of charge.”

The Nissan Partners of Progress Stage is located on Oak Hill between the 12th Street gate and the Charles Allen gate. The Heineken Stage is located next to the pavilion by the active oval near the tennis courts, and the Coca-Cola Stage is located at the top of the Meadow at 10th St. near the Charles Allen Gate, all within Piedmont Park.

A complete line-up of the Nissan, Heineken and the Coca-Cola Stages is included below. Please note this is subject to change without notice. For detailed show times, download the Atlanta Pride Mobile Application available for iPhone and Android users after September 15.
