Camp drag at its best jogged—ok, mostly walked—its way through Midtown on Saturday for the 7th Annual Purple Dress Run, a fundraiser, bar hopping, cookout of an afternoon all rolled into one.
The event from the Atlanta Bucks helps raise money for the gay squad as well as Lost N Found Youth, a non-profit that provides shelter for homeless LGBT teens. About 70 people took part in the run, which started at Mixx and made its way to Blake’s before ending at the Eagle.
Outfits ranged from simple sundresses to togas and full-blown, well conceived looks that rivaled anything we could offer with our fashion tips for werqin it at the Purple Dress Run.
