Atlanta’s gay football jocks closed out their regular season on Saturday, which means a three-week sprint to crown its season champion. And a pageant. These are gay jocks, after all.
The finale for the National Flag Football League of Atlanta included a slate of games at Boulevard Crossing Park capped with a beer bust at Frogs in Midtown. The league prepped for the season with skills sessions in late February and hit the field in March.
On June 9, the league opens Round One of its playoffs with five games. Also Saturday, NFFLA hosts its Ladies of the League Pageant at Jungle. The event, which raises funds for the HIV charities of the Armorettes, puts it players in drag to hit the stage.
