From a strip tease for Paula Abdul to Aquaman on “Smallville,” Alan Ritchson isn’t afraid to show the good stuff. Let’s hope he continues that with his role on Spike’s “Blue Mountain State.”
The edgy comedy premieres Tuesday at 10 p.m. on the home of the homoerotic UFC fights. They keep the edge going with Ritchson as Thad Castle, the reckless—and built—captain of the football team. He talks of donkey punches, sticking his balls in your ass and making Tim Tebow his bitch. He sniffs jockstraps, too, and the show makes great use of nearly every muscle on the model-turned-singer-turned actor’s body.
Ritchson got his start as an Abercrombie & Fitch model, grabbed his 15-minutes of fame with his strip tease on the third season of “American Idol” and brought Aquaman to life in “Smallville.”
Now he spits out lines such as, “Why don’t you slide over here and give Pappi a boner?” and “Best time I got caught jerking off? Pro football hall of fame, 8th grade, I got caught behind the Jim Thorpe statue.”
Watch the trailer, enjoy the pics and get ready for the 13-episode run of this homoerotic comedy. We’d expect no less from Spike.
